FanHouse will have complete WWE TLC results (Tables, Ladders and Chairs) for all matches starting Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET. The second annual TLC event features a loaded and stipulation-laden card headlined by a tables match between WWE Champion The Miz and Randy Orton as well as a four-way TLC match for Smackdown's World Heavyweight Championship.
TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs Results:
Triple Threat Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Dolph Ziggler (c) retains the Intercontinental Title. Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger unhooked the title belt while battling atop the ladder, but the belt fell to the canvas and Ziggler scrambled across to grab the belt. At one point, Vickie Guerrero climbed the ladder to capture the belt for Ziggler, but was chased off when Kingston tilted the ladder and caused her to panic.
Divas Tag Team Tables Match:
Natalya and Beth Phoenix win when Natalya delivers a top-rope splash onto Layla and Michelle McCool, who were both laying on the table. Earlier in the match, Natalya was able to hook on a double sharpshooter (yes, it's possible) on McCool and Layla simultaneously.
Tag Team Championship Match (with no TLC stipulations):
Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov (c) beat Nexus (Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel) via disqualification when Michael McGillicutty interferes as Marella attempted to strike with The Cobra. After the match, Wade Barrett comes down to the ring and beats down both Marella and Kozlov with chair shots.
Ladder Match for the WWE Title No. 1 Contender Spot:
John Morrison unhooks the contract to become the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship. Sheamus dominated most of the match by landing blows to Morrison's knee, including using the ladder in numerous ways to inflict damage, but Morrison prevailed. There was a really nice spot late in the match with both men leaping out of the ring as Morrison drove Sheamus through a ladder, which was set up across the announcers' table and the apron.
Tables Match for the WWE Championship:
The Miz (c) stayed true to his word and won by any means necessary. Miz apprentice Alex Riley was powerbombed through a table while the referee was knocked out. Miz then hit the Skullcrushing Finale on Orton, dragged him over the broken table, and woke up the ref who rang the bell thinking Orton had really gone through the table. However, after the replay showed what actually happened, the ref rang the bell again and restarted the match. Shortly thereafter, Miz won when he pushed Riley into Orton while he was on the ring apron, sending Orton flying through a table that was set up on the outside.
TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Edge defeats Kane, Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Edge speared Kane through a table that was up against the announcers' table and climbed the ladder to unhook the belt. There was another highlight-reel spot from Edge earlier in this match when he jumped off the middle rung of a ladder onto Kane right through a table set up on the outside. Del Rio took a very hard bump late in the match when Mysterio sent him flying off the top of the ladder to the outside through a table.
-- Cody Rhodes comes out to give "dashing" tips to Houston, Texas. He insults the crowd and says they all have Irritable Jowl Syndrome (IJS) with lots of neck fat. He's interrupted by Big Show, who comes out to the ring in a Santa costume as The Bella Twins help him hand out DVDs of his "Knucklehead" comedy movie. The two trade verbal barbs and Big Show hits a spinebuster on Rhodes, then strips him down to his glittered underwear which have the label "Sunday."
Chairs Match: John Cena pins Wade Barrett after giving him an Attitude Adjustment on six chairs lined up in the center of the ring. In a creative spot earlier in the match, Cena put Barrett into a rolling desk chair, then wheeled him down the ramp straight into a set of steel ring steps. After the match, Cena refused to stop and continued to punish Barrett with chair shots. Cena then placed a steel platform on top of Barrett and pulled a string of airborne chairs that was part of the set decoration, which sent tons of chairs raining down on the platform with Barrett still underneath.
Throughout the show, Cena eliminated members of Nexus one by one with chair shots, so Barrett was all on his own for this match. Also, CM Punk came out to ringside and replaced Matt Striker for the final match's commentary.
