WWE House Show Results from Belfast, Northern Ireland 4/15/11

WWE Raw House Show: Odyssey Arena, Belfast, Northern Ireland 04/15/11

Evan Bourne vs. Alex Riley

Bourne came out to a big pop, decent match, Bourne won with Shooting Star Press.

Winner: Evan Bourne

Percy Watson vs. Tyson Kidd

Not many seemed to know who Percy Watson was, crowd was mostly dead for this match for that reason, Watson got the win though.

Winner: Percy Watson

Santino Marella & Vladimir Koslov w/ Tamina vs. The Usos

Santino and Tamina came out first to a good reaction, The Uso then entered and cut a promo on Santino, the match as a handicap with both Usos against Santino, Koslov eventually showed up and to a good reaction, and Santino eventually picked up the win via The Cobra.

Winners: Santino Marella & Vladimir Koslov

John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler didn't have Vickie Guerrero with him, Morrison came out to easily the biggest pop of the night so far, the match was a good back and forth match ending with Morrison picking up the win with Starship Pain.

Winner: John Morrison

WWE Divas Championship:

Brie Bella (c) w/ Nikki vs. Eve Torres

Neither Diva(s) got much of a reaction, there was in fact a smattering of boos for Eve, was a better than usual Divas match with Brie retaining the title with her X-Factor like move after a distraction from Nikki.

Winner and still WWE Divas Champion: Brie Bella

Fans Choice Match:

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk

Punk and Orton came out to the biggest heat and pop yet respectively, the fans were given the choice of a 2 out of 3 falls match, crowd booed this, and CM Punk jumped around asking for the match, even shouting "YEAHHHH!" into the microphone, or a Street Fight, fans cheered loudly for the Street Fight, so the match was made thus.

Was match of the night, some good spots including someone (couldn't see who it was) being thrown into the steel steps which CM Punk set up in the aisleway, Punk applying an STF like submission with simultaneously choking Orton with a Singapore Cane and Punk being slingshotted head first into a steel chair that he set up in the turnbuckles, Orton eventually picked up the win after reversing the Go 2 Sleep into an RKO.

Winner: Randy Orton

Next, R-Truth and Melina came out, R-Truth got a big pop, huge "What's up" chants.

Melina and he set up a dance-off competition (the announcement of which got booed) involving four fans, with the winner receiving a backstage pass, the competition was won by the youngest fan (and the only one who wasn't booed, as he was the only one from Belfast itself).

The crowd mostly hated the segment, with the audience mostly dead, and booing for the large majority of it.

INTERMISSION

Sin Cara vs. Primo

Primo didn't get much reaction, but he cut a promo before the match which got him some heat, calling himself a greater 2nd generation superstar than Sin Cara.

Sin Cara came out to a nice reaction, they had pretty much the same match they had on Raw, except Cara won with the sunset flip powerbomb.

Winner: Sin Cara

WWE United States Championship

Sheamus (c) vs. Daniel Bryan w/ Gail Kim

Bryan & Kim came out first, they had mostly heat from the crowd, which they both played up to.

Sheamus came out to a huge pop, he too reversed roles and played babyface to the crowd, he was wearing his usual Green, Gold & Black trunks.

The match was solid, everybody reversed roles, Bryan playing heel, as did Gail Kim at ringside, even slapping Sheamus at one point, and Sheamus playing babyface, Bryan was good at antagonizing the crowd, he began the match playing cowardly heel, before taking control of the match working on Sheamus' legs, Sheamus however eventually won the match with Pale Justice.

Winner and still WWE United States Champion: Sheamus.

WWE Championship

The Miz (c) w/ Alex Riley vs. John Cena

Miz came out to easily the biggest heat of the night, both Riley and he cut promos on the crowd, Riley saying that he was the only one who believed in Miz at WrestleMania 27, and Miz saying that he doesn't care whether the fans boo him or not, as they've always been wrong about what he would achieve.

Cena then came out to a massive pop, very pro Cena crowd.

The match was decent, Mike Chioda threw Alex Riley out of the arena after he tripped Cena, Miz at one point tapped out to the STF, but Alex Riley, who had returned, pulled Mike Chioda out of the ring. Miz then hit the Skull Crushing Finale, but Cena kicked out at two. Cena then hit the Attitude Adjustment, but Riley broke up the pinfall with the briefcase, getting Miz DQed.

Winner: John Cena via DQ, The Miz retains WWE Championship

Miz & Riley continued to attack Cena after the match with a steel chair, but R-Truth ran out to make the save, Cena again hitting the AA on The Miz.

Cena then cut a promo, saying that R-Truth proved tonight that he had respect for the WWE Championship, but they will be on opposing sides at Extreme Rules.

Overall, a good show, main highlights being the Orton/Punk street fight, and the fun match between Sheamus & Daniel Bryan, with all in the match switching roles, the low point was the R-Truth "dance off", which the crowd mostly hated.

Biggest Pops:

1: John Cena
2: Randy Orton
3: Sheamus

Biggest Heat:

1: The Miz
2: CM Punk
3: Daniel Bryan
