WWE News: Where Were Top Stars Like John Cena and Randy Orton During Raw Walkout?
WWE News: Why the WWE's Top Stars Missed the Raw Walkout

The NFL was first, then came the NBA and now it's the WWE that has a lockout.

Well, it's being called the "walkout" now after all the WWE stars walked out on WWE C.O.O. Triple H at the conclusion of this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

OK, it wasn't all of the company's superstars. You probably noticed that some big time names weren't present when everyone walked out of the arena.

Here's why,

Many fans probably realized during the closing segment on RAW that many top babyface stars (John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mason Ryan, Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly) were not at ringside for the walkout.
According to a WWE source, writers knew that fans would boo the Superstars who walked out on Triple H and did not want to put that negative heat on their top babyfaces.

Let's start off with the question no everyone's mind: Is Mason Ryan really considered a top star?

Seriously, though, this move makes a lot of sense. Especially with guys who only recently turned face (such as Punk, Sheamus and Ryan), you don't want to give the fans a reason not to like them.

It does make me wonder, however, why other top baby faces (such as Jim Ross) walked out on Triple H. That hurt their standing with the fans just as much as it would for anyone else.

On the other hand, it would have been awesome to see John Cena turn his back on Triple H because it could have led to the oft-debated Cena heel turn. But that's just me dreaming.

Perhaps we will some heel and face turns in the upcoming months, though, as wrestlers either abandon Triple H or stick up for him. This could certainly add some interesting twists and make the WWE even more entertaining than it has been as of late.
