The Top 5 Divas in WWE History

The Top 5 Divas in WWE History:

If you tune into Monday Night Raw or Smackdown these days it's possible you might actually see a good women's wrestling match but once upon a time the women in the WWE were just used as eye candy. The WWE referred to their women as "Divas." There have been many good WWE Divas over the years but these are the 5 best. 5th Best WWE Diva of All-Time: Torrie Wilson
Torrie Wilson was easily one of the most popular WWE Divas and very easy on the eyes as well. Torrie Wilson was a part of the WWE from 2001 to 2008 and due to her popularity was a face for almost the entire run. Even her brief time as a heel never really stuck because the fans liked her. Torrie Wilson has also appeared in Playboy twice.
4th Best WWE Diva of All-Time: Trish Stratus
The only reason that Trish Stratus is not higher on this list is because I really only consider Trish Stratus to be a "Diva" for about half of her career. The second half of her career she became a full blown wrestler and not just eye candy.
3rd Best WWE Diva of All-Time: Sherri Martel
Sherri Martel was in the WWE before they called anybody a Diva but she's one of the greatest women in wrestling history. Sherri Martel might not have been the eye candy that somebody like Elizabeth was at the time but she was a much better manager and had a lot more talent. Sherri Martel was one of the best heels in the company at a time when women were never heels.
2nd Best WWE Diva of All-Time: Miss Elizabeth
Miss Elizabeth is often referred to as the First Woman of Wrestling. That certainly says a lot about Elizabeth but she's really still from the manager/valet era and not quite the definition of a WWE Diva. Elizabeth never did anything other than come to the ring and clap.
Best WWE Diva of All-Time: Sunny
Sunny was really the first WWE Diva and also the greatest. When Sunny was in the WWE she was often the most searched for and downloaded person on the internet. Sunny was more popular than any wrestler she ever came to the ring with, including her husband. Most importantly Sunny was the one that changed the women's role from simply a manager or valet like Miss Elizabeth to somebody that could be their own star like Torrie Wilson or Trish Stratus.
