It wouldn't be a WWE game without a version of Kratos available as a CAW. The Olympian might be taking a break from the spotlight, but he'll always be available to take to the ring.

Professor Genki from Saint's Row: The Third is awesome, the fact that someone tried to make a fake anime mascot as a wrestler is even better.

26	Jeff Jarrett

Double J is a pretty divisive figure, but we still mark out for him from time to time. This version of Jarrett caught our eye because of the killer cloak/jacket he's wearing and the handlebar moustache. Now where's the guitar?

I'll always have a soft spot for Low Ki (I'm not calling him by his WWE NXT name) for his battles in ROH and TNA. This Low Ki sports some killer tights and is a pretty damn perfect depiction of his face.

ECW Legend Raven has a solid-looking CAW in WWE '12. Great tattoos and facial paint elevate this over some of the lesser Ravens we saw. I'd like some old-school ECW gear to throw on him, but for now, this will do.

This version of Slade caught my eye because it looks almost flat and cartoony, like Slade from the Teen Titans TV show from a few years back.

22	Ultimate Warrior by VinsenMCV

Getting to play as The Ultimate Warrior in WWE All-Stars this year was awesome... and I'm glad that someone took the time to make a CAW of him for WWE '12. This version had four costumes, including a wicked Halloween Havoc 1996 costume. VinsenMDV spent a lot of time thinking about costumes and gave players a bunch of options. Go check his stuff out.

21	Owen Hart – 1995 King of Harts by ORIGINAL Mac

Owen Hart was one of my favorite wrestlers and I love the use of his 1995 King of Harts outfit. The face might need a bit of work, but this deep-cut outfit sells the CAW.

You can pay your respects to the gone-too-soon wrestler Umaga with this WWE '12 CAW. Umaga may be gone, but you can still punish everyone in the ring forever.

Giant Gonzalez's body suit is recreated on this CAW with a bit of scary accuracy. He was not the best wrestler by any stretch of the imagination, but he struck a chord with a lot of young fans during his fued with the Undertaker at WrestleMania IX.

You'll find just about every Mortal Kombat ninjas as CAWs in WWE '12, but this may be the best one.This Sub Zero has four costumes, including his new costume and versions from Mortal Kombat 1, Mortal Kombat 2 and MK 3.

The Beast From the East has an awesome CAW in WWE '12. There may be a sad theme of dead wrestlers as CAW in this feature, but let's not let depressing stats and figures of the departed derail us from paying tribute. For a bonus, you should find a Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy CAW and recreate their ECW battle.

One half of the Natural Disasters, the former Tugboat turned on his friend Hulk Hogan and became Typhoon. This CAW, by ratdRSuperstar is an awesome rendition of Typhon from the early 90s. It's worth downloading along with a Natural Disasters version of Earthquake.

This CAW of martial arts legend Bruce Lee comes in many flavors, including white suit, Game of Death yellow jumpsuit and this battle-scarred Enter the Dragon look.

14	Shaggy 2 Dope by inzan3dogg

One half of the Insane Clown Posse, Shaggy 2 Dope showed up as one of the higher-ranked CAWs. This version, sporting a sweet Detroit jersey caught my eye, but I was not able to really find a great Violent J version. Come on CAW makers, prove me wrong and unite the full ICP!

This looks like a mutant version of Mr. Freeze and the Legion of Doom. Freeze here sports a mean set of shoulder pads and an awesome helmet with his trademark red-rimmed goggles. There wasn't a great Batman version, but his villains are well represented.

This awesome NWA Sting caught my eye quickly. It's a great-looking version of Sting, with solid attention to detail in his face paint and face modeling. Alaweiz really went all out in recreating a young Sting for everyone to enjoy.

Lucha Libre master El Generico shows up as a WWE '12 CAW. This indie wrestler has several versions available for download... so you should check them all out and find the right one for you.

Looking for the latest version of Ezio Auditore? This Revelations-inspired Ezio may be old, but I bet he's got a few tricks left.

This is not the best looking Ronald McDonald, but allstars42o's dedication to a joke is the reason why he makes the list. If you tab over to Ronald's wrestling attire, this is what you get... high school/amateur wrestling Ronald McDonald. Why did he make this? I have no idea. But, it's pretty awesome!

7	Jason Vorhees by Crucified zombie

Many know Jason Vorhees as a hockey mask-wearing murderer, but this is how he first appeared in the Friday the 13th series, as a bag-over-the-head hillbilly in Part Two.

6	Masked Kane – 1997 by DoA Valiant

Kane just returned to WWE wearing a new mask, but this classic 1997 Masked Kane look is too good not to download. DoA Valiant needs to make a new mask alternate and then we'll never use another Kane but this one.

This CAW blew my mind. Who looks at a cereal box and says "Yes... that's who I want to wrestle as."? No word on whether there's a Crunch Berry version of the Captain.

4	Killbane by JoeSyrus

Killbane is one of my favorite new characters of the year. He's amazing in Saint's Row: The Third and shows up here in WWE '12 in his solid-looking green suit. You can take him to the ring in his wrestling gear if you want, but I'll take this stylin' look instead.

3	Captain Planet by Jbraska

Captain Planet by Jbraska was one of the cleanest looking and accurate CAWs I saw on the service. The logo on his chest is great, the mullet is even better. We may never get a Captain Planet movie, but we can make our own new storylines and plots in the ring.

2	The Joker by Jbraska

Jbraska appears twice on this list, once with his great Captain Planet, but also with this killer rendition of The Joker from The Dark Knight. You can almost see Heath Ledger under all that paint.

This CAW of TNA's monster Abyss shows up on this list because at the time we checked the service, he was the most downloaded character. People love to play as monsters and bringing over one of TNA's biggest guy into WWE '12 as a CAW seems like a no brainer.

Best Super Teams in WWE History

WWE Raw ended with a big announcement. John Cena was supposed to team with Zack Ryder to fight The Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz) but they attacked Ryder backstage and took him out of the match. They still didn't beat Cena, getting intentionally disqualified in order to beat down Cena once again. GM John Laurinaitis came down and told Cena that he can choose any partner he wants to fight the Awesome Truth at The Survivor Series.D-XWikimedia CommonsCena shocked no one when he chose The Rock to be his tag team partner, pairing the biggest star in the WWE today with one of the best of all time. While this dream pairing seems to be a huge deal, it is not the first time this has been done.The Mega PowersIt was the late '80s and Hulk Hogan was having all kinds of problems with Bobby Heenan's army, including a newly signed Andre the Giant. Then, it all began when The Hart Foundation and Honky Tonk Man were beating up "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Miss Elizabeth ran backstage to find someone to help and came back with Hulk Hogan. The biggest good guy in the WWE teamed up with the biggest bad guy in the WWE and the two formed the Mega Powers. The pairing would not last long as Savage's jealousy of Hogan and Elizabeth drive a stake into their partnership.The Rock and Sock ConnectionThe Rock has been here before, teaming up with one of the strangest wrestlers in the WWE history in Mick Foley. Foley had wrestled as Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack and was a former WWE World Champion by the time he formed this team. The Rock was one of the biggest stars in WWE history, and when the two teamed up, it was epic. The best moments in their partnership came in promos, such as the amazing "This is Your Life" segment, where Foley brought out numerous people from Rock's childhood. The Rock and Sock Connection was easily one of the most popular pairings in recent WWE memory.DXTriple H and Shawn Michaels were part of the Clique in the WWE with fellow buddies Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman behind the scenes. However, when Michael and Triple H teamed up as DX, it turned the wrestling world on its ear. Shawn was a world champion and Triple H was a perennial contender for the Intercontinental title. Together, they tore the WWE up. After Michaels retired due to a bad back, Triple H continued DX on as a stable but that eventually died.
