Watch Live Wrestling

The following was taped in Mexico on Saturday night for Monday’s episode of WWE RAW:
Show opened with a John Laurinaitis interview. They pushed really hard the angle of Laurinaitis firing Jim Ross, since they are now doing that as an angle after so many people clicked off Raw during the show last week. So he announced the main event as John Cena & Jim Ross vs. Alberto Del Rio & Michael Cole. I’m not sure when people were saying they wanted Jim Ross back, that is what they wanted. I’m also not sure that all the years fans in Mexico City have been waiting for TV to be held live, thought that meant a main event like that.
Mark Henry & Cody Rhodes & Christian b Randy Orton & Sheamus & John Morrison – There were two sets of post-match brawls, one with Orton vs. Rhodes and the other with Christian vs. Sheamus, so both are likely on Vengeance.
Orton vs. Rhodes was announced officially.
Eve Torres b Natalya
Phoenix vs. Torres was announced for Vengeance.
C.M. Punk b The Miz – Laurinaitis got some sort of a legal document forcing HHH to leave the ring. After the match, Miz & R-Truth beat down Punk.
Vickie Guerrero announced Kingston & Bourne vs. Swagger & Ziggler for the PPV.
Zack Ryder b Jack Swagger. Post-match saw Ziggler and Swagger beating down Ryder until Mason Ryan made the save. So if the titles change, expect Ryder & Ryan as a team.
Dolph Ziggler b Mason Ryan via DQ. Ryan didn’t break at the count of five.
They announced Sin Cara Azul vs. Sin Cara Negro in a mask vs. mask match tomorrow night. Yep, no interviews with either, even if it was just for the live crowd. I guess Sin Cara not knowing English means he wouldn’t know how to cut a promo to draw money in Mexico.
John Cena & Jim Ross b Alberto Del Rio & Michael Cole. Ross beat Cole with the ankle lock submission. They announced Del Rio vs. Cena at the PPV will be a last man standing match.

Monday Night RAW Results: September 19, 2011- latest news wwe raw

Event: WWE Monday Night RAW
Airdate: Monday, September 19th, 2011 (USA Network)
Location: The Quicken Loan Arena in Cleveland, Ohio
Results by Colin Rinehart of 411Mania

“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”
• Our hosts are JR, King, and Cole who now has his voice back and we’re live from Cleveland, Ohio. Hugh Jackman looks to be in house as well to shill his latest movie as well. King introduces him as “the star of Van Helsing” which is a low blow.
• CM Punk is out first and limping a tad to show the effects of the No DQ match. JR is all up in arms about people who didn’t order the show last night. “I tell you folks, if you didn’t order Night of Champions, you damn sure missed a good ‘un!” Punk says this building has never been kind to him. He had to vacate the world belt here and Bob Holly potatoed him here and tonight it’s only fitting that in the same building that he’s got to admit that there’s a conspiracy in the WWE. It’s not the conspiracy that Truth and Miz were talking about. Before he can elaborate, Triple H’s music interrupts.
• Cole: “As you can tell by the suit and tie, Triple H is still the COO.” Right, because no one but COO’s wear suits. JR goes into tunnel vision mode in discussing Truth and Miz’s attack and completely ignores them ALSO beating up Punk. Triple H sounding hoarse oddly says that he has to give Punk his due. Triple H is also beat up because they went to WAR, but he’s still the COO. Now, he’s got to do his day job. He says that Cena became champ but Alberto Del Rio deserves his rematch BUT Punk also deserves his rematch he never got. Hmm, that’s quite the selective continuity. Anyway, he announces a triple threat HIAC for next month between Cena, ADR, and Punk. Now, that he’s done with business, Triple H goes back to personal and starts disrobing. He says he’ll go to war again with Punk to prove that there is no conspiracy involving him. Punk tells him to hold his horses and he thinks someone is working both of them and pulling the strings. Punk says there’s an even “higher” conspiracy even “higher up the ladder.” Vince, the higher power of the corporate ministry? Bossman for pulling up the briefcase? Now, Johnny Ace comes out.
• Ace tells Triple H to ignore Punk who has ulterior motives. Punk says Ace is the one responsible for sending Truth and Miz out there, cutting off his mic, and making Nash send the text to himself because he wants Triple H’s job. Well if he’s under Triple H, how is that higher up the ladder? Ace gets his feathers ruffled and tells Punk he works for him. Triple H says they both work for him and he wants to know who is “zooming” who. Ace tells Punk, YOU’RRRRRRRRRRRE FIRED! Triple H tells him to ignore that and if anyone is getting fired, he’s going to be doing it. He’s going to get to the bottom of all this and by the end of the night, somebody WILL BE FIRED!
• Sheamus, Justin Gabriel and Air Boom vs. Wade Barrett, Christian, David Otunga and Michael Magillicutty. Michael and Justin to start. They do a criss cross and Gabriel gets a dropkick. Kofi with a sunset flip for 1. He tags in Evan with the double foot stomp also for 1. Michael counters a headscissors attempt with a side slam. Otunga in with a clothesline and pulls Bourne away from the face corner. Otunga poses and hits a bodyslam. Barrett in with some boots. Barrett with a backbreaker for 2. Christian in now for some choking. Bourne with some elbows and a leaping knee. Crowd gets behind Bourne but Otunga cuts off the hot tag and shouts at him. King mentions that yes indeed he IS married to Jennifer Hudson. Sheamus in with some power moves and JR calls him a “Wild Irish Bull” and mentions that he “likes to fight.” Sounds like they are making a combination of Tito Santana and Finlay because I don’t know too many Irish Bulls. The match breaks down as the heels jump Sheamus but Kofi hits a crossbody off the top. JR happens to mention “WWF” but the censors mute it out on the sound.Sheamus goes for Christian but hits a pump kick on Otunga instead. Sheamus Hulks up and wants the Razor’s Edge and hits it for the 3 at around 5:00.
• Meanwhile, Triple H is in the back talking with a ref who is worried about his safety. Triple H says they have nothing to worry about and he wants to talk to Miz and Truth as soon as they arrive.
• ADR storms in and calls Triple H the worst COO ever and complains about getting his rematch in the HIAC and with Punk in there. Triple H says that he can rectify it right now if ADR wants his rematch tonight. ADR begs off and says he needs time to “physically and mentally recover.” ADR then says he wishes Vince McMahon would come back and run things. Oh, NO! The least interesting twist in this storyline possible. Anyway, Triple H says he better wish and pray because he’s been in the Cell and it’ll ends careers and such. You get the gist. Awesome little mini promo here by both.
• Alberto Del Rio vs. John Morrison. No smiling or yucking for ADR because he’s all business and mad about losing the belt. Cole is pissed that Cena stole ADR’s car last night. King says he didn’t steal it; he took it for a “joyride.” The defense of every 16 year old GTA. Cole wants some help from JR to agree with him but he also sidesteps. ADR quickly goes to the boots and GnP. He stomps a mudhole in the corner and tries the armbar already but Morrison counters to the enzuigiri. ADR with a Stunner. Morrison rolls to the apron to escape but ADR grabs him and then whips Morrison’s arm in the ropes and applies the Armbar and Morrison taps out at MAYBE 90 seconds. Holy squash, Batman. They must really still have a bug up their ass about Melina, eh?
• Hugh Jackman is out next. Justin Roberts gives him an intro and dumps the Van Helsing namedrop but mentions his new movie, Real Steel. I hope people realize that the movie is basically a reworking of an old Twilight Zone episode about a boxer who can’t get a fight anymore. Hugh says hosting the Oscars was great but he wasn’t hosting in front of 15,000 Clevelanders. The Oscars? In Cleveland? Yeah right. He hypes his movie and calls it “gnarly” and a “sports drama.” But VICKIE GUERRERO HAS COME OUT! Cole with the line of the night so far: “The Cougar meets The Wolverine.” Vickie immediately transitions into butter him up mode and Dolph is aghast at her eyeballing another guy. Vickie says Hugh was sexiest man alive and Hugh plays modest and says that was years ago. Dolph: “MANY years ago.” Dolph intentionally (I think?) confuses him with Christian Bale and says he didn’t come on the set of Batman and interrupt him for spewing profanity at a PA. Dolph says he is the greatest US champ in history and he fights people and not robots and then throws in a jab at Mason Ryan. Hugh asks if he’s staring him down and Dolph says yes indeed he is using the Jedi Mind Tricks on him. Dolph runs down the city of Cleveland and then Hugh says he’s going to go backstage and get the biggest underdog possible. Dolph is less than impressed. Hugh: “Really?” Dolph: “Who are you? Miz? No, you’re too big.” WOW, Dolph throwing out the shoot comments tonight. Anyway, the crowd chants for Ryder and Hugh commandeers a sign from ringside that indeed indicates his choice will be Ryder.
• Meanwhile, Miz and Truth arrive driving their own car. No limo for them. Johnny Ace appears and says Triple H wants to see them immediately. Miz and Truth profusely apologize to Johnny and appear contrite, except ya know that wrestling heel disingenuous contrition.
• Sin Cara vs. Cody Rhodes. Cole says he doesn’t know which Sin Cara this is and I have to agree. Is it too logical to make one of them a darker shade of blue or perhaps red to keep them straight? If you’re going to with the bizarro mirror universe comic book feud, you might as well steal their costume ideas too. Before the match can get started, the other Sin Cara comes out. JR and King are split who which is the “original” Sin Cara or Mistico in this case. Cody stays on the floor with the “baggers” and disappears for the rest of the segment. No contest because it never got started.
• King says he doesn’t get it and all they do is get in the ring and gesture toward the crowd that each of them is the real one. JR: “I think the WWE Universe is just as confused as we are.” The crowd boos one and backs the other and they do some lucha stuff including an ugly headscissors to crickets. Cole: “This is difficult to follow.” One of them gets dropkicked to the floor and the other does a backflip off the top rope and mutters some insults in espanol. The mustard mood lighting only makes it even harder to follow. I think the idea of these interactions sounds good on paper and even looks cool when they are just standing there, but when you’ve got two characters that aren’t talking and are both doing the exact same moves, botches included, the crowd gets disinterested pretty fast.
• Meanwhile, Triple H is making coffee as Punk and Truth come in sheepishly like they are going into the principal’s office. They both apologize for the attack and they that he isn’t part of the conspiracy. Truth apologizes to all of the Little Jimmys and actually calls him “Trips.” They love being WWE Superstars and think he’s doing a helluva job. Triple H says fine and he accepts their apology. He fines each of them $250,000 and the crowd OOOs. He wants the “check” on his desk by Monday morning. He says they’ll both be competing tonight against John Cena and CM Punk. The whole conception of fines, penalties, etc and even bounties could work again if built to but it seems so random here and like something they NEVER do because they don’t.
• When we return, Teddy Long is leaving and JR says he’s been informed that Orton wants his rematch next month at HITC. JR then brings out Mark Henry. Cole and King are playing up how dangerous he is and King says he doesn’t think it’s a good idea for JR to even do the interview. Henry poses with the belt and it actually has a red strap on the backside. I don’t know if that’s new or not but it’s the first time I’ve noticed that. JR says that no one believed in him and he wants to know what Henry thinks about the naysayers. Henry says he’ll deal with the naysayers in a minute. Cue the “What?” chants. He says he’s never been in HITC and doesn’t know about it but he DID put Orton through hell last night so that’s kind of the same thing. He says he’s the World Champ and no one is taking what’s his from him. He’s never “forgiving” JR and all the fans for never supporting him and never believing in him. Henry wants JR to apologize to him on behalf of all the fans and on behalf of JR himself. JR starts to talk and Henry says that he better not pull the mic away and JR looks down and away in fear. Henry says it’s no secret that JR wasn’t high on him because he was injury prone and an “overachiever” (he meant underachiever). Henry shows JR the belt and says, “I don’t need to say anything. That says EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID!” JR apologizes on cue and then Henry does a 180 and says he HATES asskissers and starts choking JR by his necktie. JR: “You’re hurting me!” Henry: “THIS IS WHERE YOU BEG FOR YOUR LIFE!” King gets in the ring and tries to reason with him. JR: “I’M ABOUT TO PASS OUT!” Henry finally lets go by now he grabs King and wants him to take JR’s place. King tries a couple of shots and Henry drops him and hits the World’s Strongest Slam on him. Henry boots him to the floor and the commentary is silent for all of this as Cole is too terrified to speak. Henry now gives King the WSS through the announce table. The first few minutes was basically an inferior rehash of his great promo last night but everything after demanding an apology from JR is more great stuff. For what it’s worth, the last time they had something even CLOSE to this with a heel getting legitimate monster heat from blowing through almost everyone was Umaga and Cena beating him killed his heat so hopefully we don’t get that again here. It’s working because they are actually letting Henry destroy people and the main babyfaces are actually showing some vulnerability. Here’s hoping it continues.
• When we come back, we get multiple replays of the last segment. King is being helped to the back and we just have Cole and Josh Matthews on commentary. Cole: “Wherever Mark Henry goes, destruction follows in his wake.”
• Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres vs. Beth Phoenix and Natalya. Cole and Matthews discuss whether or not Kelly’s win was a fluke and whether or not, Beth Phoenix siked herself out. Beth overpowers to start but telegraphs a clothesline by a half hour and then Kelly gets an awful headscissors. Eve in but runs into a boot from Beth. Natayla in and they take her down with a double shoudlerblock. Natayla with some choking as Kelly bounces on the ring apron. More choking from the heels. Eve fights her way out of the corner and gets a roll up for the 3 at 2:00 or so.
• Hugh Jackman is in the back talking with Ryder but the camera does a close up only on Jackman like the reveal of who he’s talking to will be a surprise which is just bizarre from a directorial standpoint. Anyway, Hugh mentions that the divas want nothing to do with this person and his “internet championship.” We pan back and sure enough it’s Ryder. Jackman says he’s perfect and then mugs for the camera to take us into another commercial.
• Dolph Ziggler vs. Zack Ryder. Cole says Matthews should like Ryder because he’s “another internet nerd.” Ryder with a quick roll up for 2 as Matthews runs down all of his credentials including a headband that says “Broski.” Crowd chants HUGE for Ryder as he hits a facewash for 2. YOU SERIOUS, BRO?! Dolph comes back with some boots and jaws with Jackman. Dolph with a neckbreaker and more jawing. Ryder sneaks him with another roll up for 2 but Dolph comes right back with a dropkick and into a Fujiwara armbar. Dolph smacks around Ryder in the corner but runs into a boot. They both go for a clothesline and collide for the double KO. Vickie smacks Ryder for being near her on the apron. Chioda ejects Vickie and Jackman gets on the apron and waffles Dolph behind the ref’s back. Zach with the Rough Ryder Leg Lariat to win it at 4:00.
• Nice hype video for Jack Swagger. He could really go places. He might even be a World Champion someday. Jack and Vickie are watching his video in the back. Swagger is impressed with himself and says that he can help Vickie meet Jackman. Now, what about that managerial contract? Vickie says that can happen and he’ll make a nice addition to her “stable.” When’s the last time two guys in WWE were fighting for someone’s managerial services? Christian and Jericho over Trish? Test and Albert winning Trish’s services? The Hardyz and E and C trying to get Terri Runnels’ contract?
• Meanwhile, Punk and Cena go face to face in the back and Cena calls them the “New Rock ‘n Roll Express.” Punk says he wouldn’t go that far. Cena says he would. Their matches have been outstanding and Punk has earned the fans’ respect and therefore Punk has earned his respect. Cena says they will make history next month at HITC and he hopes Punk makes it there and doesn’t get fired tonight. Punk says HE hopes CENA doesn’t get fired. That would make history. During the majority of this segment, Cena was drowned out at least 50/50 by dueling chants of Cena sucks/Let’s go Cena.
• They show a video package for HITC as a gimmick.
• Awesome Truth vs. John Cena and The Miz. Cole plays up Cena being the only guy to win this specific title 10 times. I’m not buying this Punk/Cena Megapowers routine and suspect it will blow up before even the end of this match. Miz tries to shake hands with the ref to show his reformed ways but Robinson is reluctant. Cena with a bulldog for 2 and then Punk comes in and they hit a double hiptoss. Truth in now but runs into a drop toe hold and a Northern Lights suplex for 2. Truth has graffiti on his pants that spell “SHUT UP!” and “R-TRUTH!” It looks funnier than it sounds. Cena in and they do the wishbone split for 2. Truth makes the tag to Miz and now it’s the WM main event revisited. Cena with a drop toe hold and wants the FU but Miz slides out and gets a DDT for 2. We cut to commercial. We come back to Miz hitting a yakuza kick for 2. Miz tries another but Cena ducks only to get caught in the neck/backbreaker and the neckbreaker combo for 2. Miz starts arguing with the ref but Truth comes in to make peace and make sure they don’t attack the ref. Awesome character continuity there. Truth in and goes to a chinlock. Cena with a Saito suplex to counter. Truth with a clothesline and drags Cena over to the heel corner. More boots from Miz as he jukes and jives with jabs. Cena counters that with a gutwrench suplex as he compares Miz to Muhammed Ali. Truth in and prevents the hot tag and drags Cena over to the heel corner. Robinson pulls him away and Miz COULD attack Cena behind his back but doesn’t. They are playing by the rules tonight and trying to win clean and not mess with the ref. Truth with a right hand for 2 and then spazzes out at the ref but still doesn’t attack him. They boot away in the corner as Punk gets a hope spot clap going. Cena gets an inverted atomic drop but runs into a clothesline. Miz goes for the flying clothesline in the corner but Cena avoids. Cena makes the hot tag and Punk is in with rights and a leg lariat and a suplex on Truth. Punk with the knee lift and bulldog combo on Miz and a springboard clothesline. He wants the G2S but Miz slides out. Miz and Truth almost collide only for Punk to dropkick them together anyway and hit the G2S on Miz to win it at 13:00 ish. So much for my megapowers collide prediction.
• Triple H cuts off the celebration. He wishes Punk only a good match and then cuts straight to the point and fires Truth and Miz. Er, does that mean they still pay the kayfabe fine? They are in disbelief. They storm to the back but instead we cut to Triple H and the rest of the lockerroom near the Gorilla position. Truth and Miz bust through the curtain and jump H. The lockeroom pulls them away and then Triple H demands they get thrown out. Miz is carried away just like Chris Jericho when he was “fired” back in 2005. Triple H is pissed off and we fade to black watching his stalk through the back alone.

Event: WWE Monday Night RAW
Airdate: Monday, September 12th, 2011 (USA Network)
Location: The Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ontario
Results by Colin Rinehart of 411

“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”
Your hosts are Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole in we are in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada!
We open the show with our World Heavyweight Champion, El Patron, ALLLBEERRRTOOOOO DELLL RIIIIOOOO!! He is in the ring already and has added a new necklace to his attire. Del Rio questions the booing of the crowd then says it’s alright because he can take it. What he cannot take is being disrespect[ed]. Last week Juan Cena hit him and everyone made fun of him. Del Rio says he is the undisputed WWE Champion and no one makes fun of him! He is the man who took out Rey Mysterio and retired Edge! He beat CM Punk at Summerslam and is the man who is going to teach Cena a lesson at NOC so you people best stop with the ridicule. His name is Alberto Del Rio and he is the champion. The greatest of the great!
Just as he says that, we get Bret Hart’s entrance music hitting and out comes the legend himself. JR says, “What an eruption,” but it sounds like he said erection. -snickers- Hart calls Del Rio amigo as the crowd goes wild. Bret wants to give Del Rio some advice. It’s obvious that Del Rio is a man that doesn’t know what it means to be a World Champion (and Cole rightfully says WWE Champion instead). Del Rio brings up Mysterio and Edge again and Bret says give me a freakin break! He calls Del Rio all style and little substance and needs to be a real champion. Essentially, a man that defends his championship and Del Rio is a long way away from that. Del Rio thinks Bret is making fun of him and calls Bret a homeless person due to his greasy hair and 1990′s jacket. He looks just like one of those Illegal Canadians he hires to clean his house. hahaha. Del Rio says he is the best there is, not Bret! He is the WWE Champion and tonight he is going to make an example out of Bret. The scarf is off and we’re gonna ge——
Ah, but instead we get the No. 1 Contender’s music and out comes John Cena. The crowd is mostly anti-Cena although there are some cheers for him. Cena thanks the crowd for the welcome then says he disagrees with Del Rio because all he sees when he looks at Bret is a WWE Hall of Famer and although he has no visual proof, it appears that Del Rio has finally grown some jalepenos because so far, Del Rio has been running. Cena then tells Del Rio to step in his shiny red car and go back to Mexico because he is the WWE Champion for only 6 more days. Cena told us all that he’s going to beat Del RIo on Sunday and now he is telling Del Rio. Del Rio says why wait, let’s do this now. Cena says he’s been trying to fight for a month and if he wants to go, let’s go! Del Rio says if Cena’s got the balls, let’s give these people the match that they want…John Cena vs. Ricardo Rodriguez!!! Cena panders to the crowd as he wants a different match, Alberto Del Rio vs. Bret Hart for the WWE Championship. Bret takes off the jacket and he’s down with the get down.
Before anything can happen, though, we get Johnny Ace at the top of the ramp. He introduces himself and the crowd really boos him. On behalf of Triple H, how bout we get a tag team match instead. Alberto and Ricardo vs. John Cena and Bret Hart. So it was written and so it shall be.
Match 1: John Morrison and Alex Riley vs. Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero)
Morrison and Dolph to start. Dolph gets the quick upperhand with a shoulder block but Morrison turns it into an arm drag which is telegraphed. Dolph goes for a dropkick but Morrison turns it into a slingshot and a rope assisted enziguri then a pin for 2. Dolph gets out of it then hits a neckbreaker for a pin but only gets a two. Dolph drops an elbow on Morrison and pins again for 2. He yells at Swagger that he is the man giving Morrrison the opportunity to kick him right in the face. We get tags on both sides and Alex hits Swagger with some chest shops then a spinebuster. Dolph is in the ring but not for long as Riley sends Dolph to the outside. Riley hits Swagger with looks like a lazy Rock Bottom and pins for two. Swagger goes for the ankle lock then is whipped to the ropes and hits Dolph off the apron. Riley with his neckbreaker finisher and a pin for Swagger. Dolph notices but neglects to break the pin, opting to watch instead, giving Alex Riley the win!!
Winners: Alex Riley and John Morrison
A quick match, almost too quick I think, but it got it’s point across. (**)

In the back, we’ve got the great R-Truth and The Miz with Josh Mathews. He wants to know if The Miz and Truth have any changed feelings for Triple H. They take the mic and start a stroll backstage. Everything is supposed to be ok? That’s laughable. So is Punk considering himself a martyr. Everyone is supposed to be excited about the face-off, right? If Punk really wanted to tell the truth, he’d change his name from CM to BS. Truth grabs the mic and says he kind of feels that Triple H has made a pretty good decision, prompting a “Really” then says Ninja please, hell no! Truth wants HHH to lose this Sunday, too. Let’s show these people the REAL Truth. Is that a new shirt for Miz? It looks pretty sweet with the M in awesome doubling as an upside down WWE logo.
Out on the ramp now and Truth is still talking. HHH is COO and that spells COO. Now, that two times spells Coo-Coo and Cuckoo is exactly what HHH is if he thinks that Miz and he are going to let them off the hook and he’s going to prove at the Night of Champions that they should be in every main event. Miz takes the mic and says that Kofi and Bourne are gonna get got! Truth with the mic, “And that is….AWESOMMMEEE!!!”
Match 2: The Miz (w/R-Truth) vs. Evan Bourne (w/ Kofi Kingston)
Miz goes for a kick but Kofi catches it. Miz with a few hard lefts (hey, he’s a south paw…never noticed). Miz with a suplex then a cover for 1. Miz with a cravat from behind but Kofi turns his shoulder allowing himself up and hits some gut shots then a face shot. He hits the ropes, monkey flip! Kofi with a shoulder block, they run the ropes a bit too much but Miz holds on. Kofi goes for a move but Kofi arm drags him over the ropes and Miz falls along with him as we get a commercial break

We are back and Miz has a hold from behind on Kofi. Kofi fights out of it with some kicks and a few rights but Miz hits him with a right and a DDT! Miz with a pin…1….2!!! Nope! Miz gets Kofi up and sends him to the corner. He goes for the adjacent corner but Kofi rolls out of it and stomps on Miz’s chest! Miz with a right but Kofi blocks only for Miz to hit a righ.t Kofi hits another kick and dropkick then a missed clothesline. He goes for the SOS but Miz sends him to the corner. Miz goes for a hit but Kofi with a kick to the face. Kofi goes up for a cross body! Nicely done! Pin. 1…2..No! Miz with a big boot to the face though. He goes for another boot as Kofi sits but Kofi moives and cradles it for a pin for two. Miz goes for his neckbreaker but Kofi breaks out of it for another pin for two!
In the corner, Miz hits a neckbreaker from the top rope!! Miz then calls for the Skull Crushing Finale. He locks in the full nelson…bam! He hits it!!! 1…2…3!!!
 Winner: The Miz
A good enough match. Then again, you’ve seen one match with Kofi and the Miz, you’ve most likely seen them all (**1/2)

In the back, Vickie is with Teddy Long. Long says yes he saw what happened but he’s got a message for Vickie. Dolph is going to defend the US Title in a Fatal Four Way match against Jack Swagger, John Morrison, and Alex Riley. Vicki, of course, says it’s not fair and is about to scream but Kelly Kelly is there, randomly, and says perhaps Vicki should be nicer if she wants to get what she wants. Vickie then calls Kelly a ditzy Barbie doll and hopes Beth beats her ass. She says it shouldn’t be tough, however, considering how easy it would be to beat Kelly Kelly. Teddy Long then makes the match, Kelly Kelly vs. Vickie Guerrero.
Before the break, we get Cena and Bret talking in the back, but apparently this is Playstation 2′s Smackdown Here Comes the Pain because we cannot hear what they are saying.
McGillicutty and Otunga are in the ring. McG has the mic and says he was born with a personality. Otunga then tells Lawler that he is a Harvard educated lawyer. King tells McG that he did know his father and trust, he is NOT his father. As for Otunga, just what we need…another lawyer. Even though he graduated from Harvard, it’s apparent that he failed his charisma class. King then introduces Sheamus as his tag team partner. Oh joy!
Match 3: Jerry “The King” Lawler and Sheamus vs. David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty
Lawaler and Otunga to start. Otunga with a hard right, sends Lawler to the corner then tags in McG. McG with a body slam then goes up top and mocks the King by removing a fake strike. He runs right into a right hand by King. The King tags in Sheamus and Sheamus comes in hard. A couple clotheslines and a body slam of his own before he hits those rope assisted hits to the chest of McG which are always so damned brutal looking! Sheamus knocks Otunga off the apron then hops on it and hits a running knee lift to McG. Sheamus is up top and hits a shoulderblock from the top rope! Otunga in the ring and is sent to the ropes then hit with a Brogue Kick. One more for McG! Talk about an ass kicking! Sheamus with the Celtic Cross on McG then goes for a pin and gets the duke!
Winners: Jerry “The King” Lawler and Sheamus
Talk about a damned squash! But damned was it convincing and bad ass. What’s with King being in the match all of 1 minute and getting cut open? (**)

In the back, Ricardo is doing some girl push ups and drinking a….aphrodisiac? Silly Mexican.
Match 4: John Cena and Bret Hart vs. Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez
Ricardo is playing the scared newbie to a T as Del Rio allows him to start against Cena. Ricardo runs towards the red shirt of Cena like a bull…hahaha. Wow. He charges again but Cena dodges him and Ricardo looks frustrated. Cena finally tosses the shirt to the crowd and Ricardo tries to attack Cena from the behind but Cena moved. Cena tosses Ricardo over his head. Ricardo tags in Del Rio and Del Rio doesn’t get in. Cena runs out and chases Del Rio out of the ring and around it but Del Rio sneaks in and Cena follows. Bam, kick to the head from Del Rio! Del Rio sends Cena to the corner but Cena comes back with a couple clotheslines then a toss to the corner, another clothesline and a dropkick. He goes up for the AA but Del Rio grabs the ropes. Ricardo holds onto Del Rio’s hand and the ref calls it a tag. Cena with a shoulderblock, another, we get the five moves of doom before Cena places Ricardo atop him for the AA. Del Rio is outro as he walks up the ramp. Cena tags in Bret and we’re getting a sharp shooter. Ricardo taps
Winners: John Cena and Bret Hart
Very simple, very short and very….Cena-like. (*1/2)

Cena gets the mic and tells Del Rio that this Sunday his destiny changes and at the end of NOC, the champ is here. Del Rio mocks him at the top of the ramp and, good Lord I hope Del Rio wins Sunday.
There is a small video package about Sept. 11 and rather than focusing on the lives lost or the event at hand, they show the fact that they were the FIRST public assembly to address the issue. Maybe it’s just me, but I expected something different. Oh, and it’s narrated by John Cena…you know, The Marine.
Match 5: Kelly Kelly vs. Vickie Guerrero
Vickie comes out with Dolph tailing shortly behind her. She doesn’t have the music, but she is in wrestling attire. Vickie tells Kelly to wait as she does a few stretches and a few jumping jacks. She starts with a push to Kelly but Kelly gets a Lou Thesz and some over exaggerated hits. She licks the hand and smacks Vickie in the ass then sets up the Stink Face. She hits it as Swagger comes down the ramp. Swagger is asking Dolph if he’s ready then decks Dolph in the face! Vickie screams at both guys as Kelly gets a rollup for the 1…2..3!
 Winner: Kelly Kelly
Well that was a waste of time. (1/2*)

After the match, Beth Phoenix runs down but Kelly stops her with a kick then leaves the ring. Hmmmm.
They show a graphic showing Orton vs Rhodes. If it’s anything like their Smackdown encounter, I’m down.
After a break, we get a video promo for Triple H in case we’ve forgotten that he is a wrestler and not a man in a suit.
Mathews is in the back with Mizzark Henrizzy! Henry says don’t say a Got Damn word and just listen. People wonder why he annihilated the Big Show, why he decimated Kane, why he ran Sheamus through a barricade at Summerslam. He’s going to tell us. 15 years of looking over Mark Henry. 15 years of no respect. 15 years of not being the No. 1 Contender and not being the World Heavyweight Champion. The reason for all of that is to get him to this point and this Sunday, he promises that Orton is going to enter HIS Hall of Pain!
Match 5: Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes
We start with a lockup, of course. Orton quickly turns it into a side headlock. Toss to the ropes, Orton hits a back elbow and locks in another side headlock. Cody sends Orton to the corner then hits a right and some kicks and another right. The ref breaks it up. Orton sends Cody to the ropes and flips him over his head. Not even 2 minutes in and Henry shows up at the top of the ramp. Orton is all like hells nah and grabs a chair from under the ring and runs up the ramp. Henry runs away as Cody comes out the ring and tries to attack Orton. Orton is quick though and hits a blow to the face and an uppercut. Some offense towards the ring, Orton tosses him in and covers for 2. Orton sends Cody to the corner and stomps him a bit. Also of note, Orton left the chair on the ramp. Some more stomps onto Cody as Orton watches the top of the ramp. He climbs to the second rope and gets the socks onto Cody as the crowd counts along. Orton with a whip but cody reverses it only to be hit by a clothesline. This has been all Orton thus far. Orton kicks Cody in the chest then stomps on his fingers. Henry is back with a chair of his own. He sits atop the ramp, staring at Orton. Orton gets out of the ring and walks up to Henry. Henry stands as Cody follows Orton out. Cody uses the apron to hit an Enziguri and rolls in the ring as the ref starts the count and we get a break. Mt. Dew time!!!

We are back and Cody sends Orton to the corner then hits an arm DDT and a cover for 2. Cody with some stomps onto Orton’s arm then drives his knee into it and kicks just under the arm. It appears Cody has found his target. Cody then stomps Orton on the chest and locks in a key lock. Orton tries fighting out of it and does but Rhodes twerks the arm. He hits the ropes but Orton just lifts him and tosses him! Henry is making his way down the ramp and Orton notices. Henry simply wants a closer look, that’s all. Orton with a couple of clothesline then a powerslam. He goes for the DDT from the outside but Rhodes hits him and is about to hit the Cross Rhodes. Orton counters and sets up the DDT and hits it this time. The voices are talkin as he gets ready for the RKO< but Henry is up on the steps near the apron. Rhodes is up and the mask is off!! Whaaaaa!!! He uses the mask as a weapon, clocks Orton in the face then hits the Cross Rhodes. He pins…1…2…3!!! NO WAY!!!
 Winner: Cody Rhodes
I was all ready to complain about how little the amount of offense Rhodes got and how maybe it was a RAW stigma where the main eventers look better than the blossoming upstarts. Boy was I wrong as Rhodes got the win and I don’t care if it was a cheap one, it fits Rhodes character. As I said, Orton got a lot of offense which brought the match down just a bit but this win was huge for Rhodes. Huge! (***)

After the match, Henry has the chair and hits Orton right on the back. Henry grabs the championship belt and raises it in the air.
The Final Show-Down Between CM Punk and HHH
HHH is suited up and CM Punk is suited down. Punk says that he is fascinated that the entire world is watching and waiting for exactly what these two need to say to each other and he will start. He respects Triple H, especially last week when he fired Nash. But just because he respects him doesn’t mean he likes him and he knows that it doesn’t matter to The H’s because HHH doesn’t like him either. He knows that he hasn’t liked him since day 1 and he’s known that for a long time. He thinks that when Punk first got here, H referred to him as a pompous, under-sized internet darling that couldn’t hang with the likes of the MIghty HHH.
HHH says it’s changed a little bit. haha. Punk says that is the issue and the crowd cheers Punk on. Punk says the fact that HHH’s perception of him as only changed a lil bit is not good enough because it’s synonomous with the fact that WWE hasn’t changed much either and he is just like Vince McMahon. He can’t let all of the fame pass him by and both share the opinions and philosophies that someone who looks like Punk doesn’t belong in the WWE. He brings up the body building body and it being a requirement and based on that, the people that fit that mold are awarded 10 times the opportunity. HHH drops some names, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Rey Mysterio, Bret Hart…some of the biggest stars that don’t fit that mold at all.
Punk says he’s going to deny that this mindset doesn’t exist? H wants to know if Punk is going to use that as an excuse? Punk says no he’s not, but is it true or not. H says if Punk wants to use it as an excuse for his failures then go ahead. The crowd starts a chant again for Punk. H says Punk is worried about HHH’s opinion when it’s the people’s opinion that matters. Punk says, :”Are you listening to them?” hahaha. Triple H says yes, but it’s the first six years where he would bitch about the fact that he wasn’t getting the cheers because he was being held back. H says it’s not about him, it’s about them and Punk won’t have to go and beg and plead to be on a cup at 7-11, 7-11 will call the WWE and demand Punk on the cup.
Punk says if that’s the case, then where the hell are his WWE Ice Cream bars? Personally, I think Punk is losing ground here….lol. Punk then says to spare him the imaginary brass ring speech and is going to take us back to 2006, in Philly, the night before his first PPV appearance in a tag team captained by DX. 18,000 people weren’t chanting HBK, HHH or DX, they were chanting…. and the crowd awesomely fills in the rest. The story doesn’t have a happy ending, however because he grabbed that brass ring and it went nowhere. Punk doesn’t play games, what you see is what you get and he’d much rather be hated for what he is than loved for something that he is not.
HHH calls it might heroic of him and says PPV’s, main events, MITB, multiple world championships…those sound like a lot of opportunities and maybe Punk has to look in the mirror and ask questions like maybe he’s not the best in the world. HHH has a story for us and reminds us of when Cena told him he had almost lost hope in him. HHH says John Cena is a guy that came from nothing and made himself the biggest star in this industry. Some people love him, some hate him but he sells out arenas all over the world and he did that on his own. He did it by winning the crowd over. Punk is always worried about HHH’s opinion when it’s the people he must worry about. Sometimes HHH says that guy looks great and he turns out to be nothing. Other times he says, I don’t think he has anything to offer and that guy turns out to be John Cena. See, Punk, it’s all about winning the people over, that’s all you gotta do.
Punk is questioning HHH’s hearing due to the crowd going crazy over him. H’s says last year they weren’t doing that and stop saying he’s a martyr. Punk then says everything he’s done the last 6 years he got on his own. HHH says yes you did and congrats because you made it but here’s the thing. Whether it’s the warped internet philosphy that doesn’t work or not, here is the fact…this is not about business, this is PERSONAL! Punk made it personal. Triple H tried to keep it business and that’s why this Sunday Punk is going to step in the ring with-not with the business man, not the COO, not the Cerebral Assassin, just a man! A man who Punk insulted and a man who is going to kick his ass.
Punk claims well la-di-da. Punk says he is the best in the world and Punk is going to win the match. His quest for change doesn’t stop until HHH is no longer COO and Sunday Night at NOC, No DQ, it’s going to be so satisfying then says this isn’t Punk talking to HHH but Phil talking to Paul then…the mic cuts off….whoa. HHH says if he wants to say something, say it to him. HHH hands Punk the mic then they cut that shit off. HHH asks for another mic! Whoa! HHH hands the new mic to Punk and says to lay the pipe bomb on him, go ahead! Punk looks at the mic, then grabs it and hits Triple H over the head!!! He then hits a SUCK IT! and walks out of the ring.

Event: WWE Monday Night RAW
Airdate: Monday, August 29th, 2011 (USA Network)
Location: The BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma
 Results by Colin Rinehart

“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”
-Colin is without electricity, so you have me tonight. Wish him well as the hurricane caused havoc where he is.
~THE H’s SPEAK~
COO HHH makes his way to the ring to kick off the show. HHH says that it is his job to make sure that we give the fans the absolute best that the WWE has to offer at all times. To make sure that the company thrives and survives. Starting tonight, and for the future, you will not only get the superstars of Raw every Monday, but you will get the stars of Smackdown joining them. This is to create Raw’s Supershow. That is the cool part of his job. But there are bad parts, like disrespect, people sending texts, faking car crashes, and unfortunately for him, most of the lies come from Nash, a close friend. Apparently Kevin is upset that HHH wouldn’t allow him to be a man. Well Kev, you want to be a man, come to the ring, look him in the eye and tell him why you lied.

CM Punk now makes his way to the ring. Punk claps for HHH and grabs the mic. He says that was a great performance. He says that was Oscar caliber stuff. HHH asks what Punk wants, and Punk says to stop acting, stop lying, and tell the truth.
n.W.o music hits and here comes Kevin Nash. Nash says that yeah, yeah he lied. He had his driver call Johnny Ace and claim he was in a wreck, because HHH wouldn’t let him take care of things. He tricked HHH. Nash had to get rid of HHH to make things right. Nash says Punk has been trying to make a fool out of him, but that is over. Nash claims Punk’s insulting them both and Stephanie. So he asks HHH a question, what kind of man are YOU HHH? HHH stands there, and then says he is the man that does not expect to be lied to by his best friend. He wants to take what Nash says for the truth, but that doesn’t work anymore. He cannot trust him anymore when it comes to business. Now, he asks him to leave, leave and this time, do not come back. Nash says he lied, but only about the accident, but not about the text. Also, last week, Johnny Ace, signed him to a very lucrative WWE contract. So, buddy old pal, if you are going to fire him, he has to do it in front of the audience. And no matter what, he will get paid. So, ball is in your court.
HHH says he will not fire him. But the lying stops now. No more. Punk acts like he is throwing up over the ring ropes and then at their feet. Family Guy style spoof here. Get it he is acting like he is sick, acting like them. He doesn’t believe this crap. He says HHH is having Nash do his dirty work and also hired him back. Hey everyone, the KLIQ is back, WHOO HOO! Which is ironic, which is the noise (click) that the fans make when Nash walks on screen. Nash says since he is under contract, why don’t they book the match everyone wants to see. The match Punk thinks he wants, Nash vs. Punk. Punk says they can do it at NOC, since Nash is a championship ass kisser. Punk says to check with your wife HHH. Punk says the wife runs the show anyway, ask her if it is ok. He accuse Steph of ordering the text and says HHH wears Steph’s panties. PIPE BOMB. Punk and HHH stare down, and HHH says if he wants the match, fine, it is official for NOC. And as far as they go, he has two words for them, suck it.
As Nash and Punk stare down, Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. Orton faces Dolph Ziggler later tonight.
Non-Title Match: World Champion Randy Orton vs. US Champion Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero

~JOHN CENA SPEAKS~
John Cena makes his way out to the ring. Cena asks how everyone is doing tonight, and mentions that there are mixed emotions and he loves it. He says he is uneasy, because ADR actions have spoken louder than words. His words were that he would have honor and class, but his actions says he has no class and he has no honor. I believe that there was a douchebag in there. Cena plans to kick Del Rio’s teeth down his throat, you want some, come get some.

Mark Henry makes his way out to the ring, and someone’s gonna get their ass whipped, and there may in fact, be wig splitting as well. Henry says he came down here to GET ME SOME! He says Cena may not have noticed, but he has dismantled Kane, Big Show and others. Last week he took out Sheamus on those steel steps, and Cena will join the hall of pain. Regardless of who wins the cage match tomorrow, they too will join his list. At NOC, Henry says he will be the new world champion.
Christian now makes his way out to the ring, and apparently has something to add. Christian says that he will put Henry’s mind at ease. After he beats Orton tomorrow, he and Henry will face at NOC. Christian says Cena makes him sick. If there is one thing he cannot stand, it is Cena whining bitching and complaining until they get what he wants. Cena says that he doesn’t whine, and makes fun of Christian’s tan and Henry’s breath. Cena then says if they want some, get some, if not, get gone. Christian asks if Henry will take that, and they have the numbers, and they should teach Cena a lesson. Sheamus runs down to make the save and it appears as if we have a tag team match.
Christian bails on Henry, and Henry then decides to bail as well. Backstage, Johnny Ace says he wants to make the tag match for later tonight. HHH appears, and says that He already made the match. Remember, he works for HHH, he is the boss.
-CM Punk vs. The Miz is next!
